Some 12 years after the announcement of the last new Buizen model, plans for the new Buizen 60 were unveiled at an owners function at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia on the 29th October 2008.

Some 18 months in the design process, the new 60 has been designed in collaboration with Anthony Starr Design Studios, Peter Lowe Design (Naval Architects) and the Buizen team.
